I have never been all that into purple, until finding your blog. I teach 7th grade and 7th grade girls? Purple crazy! I have a 7th grade girl of my own and yep–purple explosion! I never thought I looked all that good in purple, and I always felt I was surrounded by SO much purple, so I just didn’t go there. (Plus, I am one of those girly girls that loves pink.)
Now I buy and wear purple quite a bit! And a whole purpleicious world has opened up to me! Thanks for the inspiration.
We wore purple yesterday to remember a special girl that we’ve never met. But then in our backyard a beautiful yellow rose bloomed (it was just a tight bud the day before). It was huge, and so pretty and just happy. It reminded me of Maddie’s yellow dress and how happy she looked in it. I’m silly and like to read into things and I think it was Maddie saying hello nice to meet you!
We think of you and your family every day!
I have found, for the first time EVER, something on your blog that I can get over here!
I can get Toms youth shoes in my size (sorry Rebecca not in size 7) in the glittery purple
And since I LOVE purple and the dogs ate my favourite weekend pumps I think I might just have to buy some!
As for those little chunky legs, with their little turned in toes….. so so cute
Those shoes are so cute; it’s like they were made for Maddie and Annie. I wish I could wear purple striped tights with purple shoes too. I probably could but I think people might look at me like I’m bonkers…
