So adorable! As soon as I put something in my little girl’s hair, she takes it right out.
March 18th, 2011 at 12:36 am
Super cute! My daughter was almost 3 before I could put her hair in piggies so I totally get it.

March 18th, 2011 at 5:00 am
Oh, that face!
March 18th, 2011 at 5:55 am
Adorable! And she looks like a totally different baby, or I guess KID!
March 18th, 2011 at 5:59 am
Jealousy!!! My little girl is a couple weeks older than Annie, and I was just able to do a bow (sort of) for the first time yesterday. It feels like pigtails are a long way off. She’s adorable!

I love little girls with cute little curly pigtails! I could be biased, since my girl has cute little curly pigtails too.
March 18th, 2011 at 6:48 am
I want to bite her nose AND then her toe!!!!! MY GOD just squeeze her….
March 18th, 2011 at 7:17 am
SO CUTE, even though Annie doesn’t seem to think so! This photo made me smile 🙂
March 18th, 2011 at 7:18 am
I adore the expression! How can you not smile at that face?!
March 18th, 2011 at 7:28 am
Oh I was so excited for the first time I could put ponytails in our girls’ hair! She looks so grown up in this picture – time sure flies.
March 18th, 2011 at 7:35 am
Too cute!! I wish I could do this with my 13-month-old… she’s still bald as can be!
March 18th, 2011 at 7:36 am
Cute little piggies, and such beautiful eyes. Pigtails are my favorite on my two year olds spunky head:)
March 18th, 2011 at 7:40 am
Oh my hell – that is too cute! My ‘baby’ is 23 yrs old today and I can still remember the first time I was able to put her hair in pigtails. Last night I was looking at some pictures for my birthday blog post for her and found one of her looking at herself in a mirrored closet door and it made me wonder how many more of us have those pictures.
March 18th, 2011 at 7:46 am
They make me happy too.
March 18th, 2011 at 7:51 am
Looks like your little doll is saying “so what’s the big deal, this is just the beginning! of fabulous hair moments for me, mom!” What a little darling!!
March 18th, 2011 at 8:15 am
Squee! *faints from the cuteness*
March 18th, 2011 at 8:17 am
Forget the pigtails… that face is too much!!!!
March 18th, 2011 at 9:07 am
That face!!! I love it.
She’s smiling on the inside. 🙂
Cute pigtails, Annie!!
March 18th, 2011 at 9:13 am
I agree with Karen. That face! She is absolutely darling! 🙂

So cute! I love how she so clearly doesn’t like them. Or for all I know, she’s unhappy about something completely different, but I’m choosing to interpret it this way. Regardless, isn’t it fun to force cuteness on your kids!
March 18th, 2011 at 9:29 am
I don’t think she’s as happy as you are…

March 18th, 2011 at 12:28 pm
AHHH!!!! She’s so adorable!!! I just want to squeeze her! And how super cute is her hair!! I even love her crabby look. 🙂

She looks maaaaaaaadddd. So cute!!
March 18th, 2011 at 10:02 pm
She is adorable, but I have to brag a little. Here is my Louella at 7 months old…
She is now 9 months and the hair is out of control…
March 18th, 2011 at 10:46 pm
OMG! That is some craaaaaaaazy hair! And CUTE too!
March 18th, 2011 at 10:48 pm
I remember when my oldest girl finally had enough hair for ponytails!
She was about 4. and her brown hair was stick straight, slick and hair accessories all slid out in moments. She now dyes it orange.
I remember when my younger girl finally had enough hair for ponytails!
The day she was born. It was curly too, and deep glossy chestnut. she now spends hours making it as straight as her sister’s hair.
and just the one time, when he was about two and had never had a haircut, I put my little boy’s lovely thick blond hair into pigtails for just a moment, and got teary eyed at what a beautiful girl he woulda been. no, I didn’t take pictures. I mean, I do have pictures of it when it was long, just not the pigtails. I gave in to the pressure to cut it a few weeks later. It is nice, now that he’s a constantly dirty 4 year old boy, that short hair is so easy to wash and dry.
But the pigtails were too cute. Trust me.

I love this post. Too funny.
My daughter is 20 months old, and she sounds like she has your first daughters’ hair type. Stick straight, holds nothing, and hardly anything there. LOL!
March 19th, 2011 at 5:49 am
Adorable!! I love the expression on her face too!
March 19th, 2011 at 1:16 pm
She looks so adorable in that picture! I can’t help but think though that her mommy is much more excited about this milestone than she is though. 😉
March 20th, 2011 at 1:37 pm
Too cute! Is her getting lighter? Her baby curves are precious but she seems to be thinning out, especially in the face (probably because she’s mobile now). Anyway, she looks more like a little girl and less like baby:( So beautiful!
March 21st, 2011 at 5:34 pm
Those make me so happy!!! So super cute!
March 21st, 2011 at 6:49 pm
