Dearest Heather and Mike,
Oh my, your Annie is cuteness personified, and with a HUGE personality to match. As was your dear, dear Maddie-so unique, with her equally amazing larger than life sweetness.
I too lost a child and, as with you, although he was sick, my son’s passing was totally unexpected.
I have an older daughter and a younger son . I didn’t even START to relax-to believe that he would be ok- until my youngest passed the age that his brother had reached. Have you found anything like this happening?
It has been 19 years now and it is bearable in a better way than in the early years- it becomes a new normal and changes you in a good way, if the word “good” can be in the same thought with these things.
I wish you peace, and joy and a new normal that will creep up gradually over the years. All my very best to your lovely family -of four.

Adorable! And LOL — I just know my dad is counting down until he can place a tiny golf club in Coraline’s hands. 🙂
