That is great, though! Such determination to get all of the food out by herself. Doesn’t cleanup at this stage take forever? Congrats to another milestone. Good luck to the both of you.
I had to tell myself almost every meal time to let my kids feed themselves or they would never learn. They did learn and the mess diminished but I so wanted to step in at the time and do it for them just to stop the mess.
Guh, that food looks red… and she isnt wearing a BIB! Thats what would freak me out, lol. Shes getting so big. Josie wants to feed herself, but she isnt too coordinated yet.
I know the feeling all too well. It is like an assembly line at our house – eat, bath, sleep, eat, bath, sleep. Thank goodness my little ones love to take baths!
Heh Yeah, it does look like you’ll be finding macaroni noodles in her socks and cute little baby wrinkles at bath time tonight
Way to go, Annie! Keep on truckin’, baby!
I love watching my daughter eat by herself but it’s always in the back of my mind that I have to clean up the mess. Where are the magical cleaning fairies when you need them?
Way to go Annie! Least she is using a spoon/fork correctly. My DD didnt use a spoon right still she was closer to 2 yrs old. My DS is 14 months and has no interest in spoons other the for drumming on things..

I’m with you. I very nearly flip out whenever my hands are sticky.

LOL! I think this is one of the top things holding me back from having a baby right now. I hate sticky!

My oldest was so picky… I couldn’t ever get her to eat anything like that. If it was baby food and had even a hint of meat in it… forget it!
And I have the same craziness about baby mess, makes me twitch a little.

Looks like she’s a lefty….my grandaughter loves that pasta too. She’s growing up so fast. Such a cutie.
