Well, after the LOL for overall effect – totally alike in the eyes. You, Maddie, and James all have the same eyes. Their shape, where they are on the face. But, sorry, he’s all Mike and Annie everywhere else
But that could change next week. My daughter was born a mini me. My mom would absentmindedly call her by my name, such was the resemblance. Within a month, she looked like a different kid. My husband still jokes that we must have picked up a different baby along the line, and left our own in the care of another slightly confused family.
Jokes aside, while she still looks somewhat like me (same nose, lips, and hair), the more she grew, the more she started to resemble her dad. By 1, she was pretty much a 50/50 blend (minus the hazel grey/brown eye color, we’re still scratching our head on that one) of us, and she’s poised to stay that way.
Hee hee hee. Too cute. He does look like your adorable mini-me. I started to write that I hope he has your eyes, like Maddie, but then realized that no matter what, he will be precious and perfect. From afar, I love your sweet baby James. Thank you all for sharing!
I don’t post often — but read daily. Welcome back to the world of feeling better and eating! James is absolutely dreamy and looks so much like you and your brother. He is a miracle worth suffering for, I am sure. Happy to see your commentary back on Twitter as well. Your family has been blessed once again and I hope you and Mike are flying high on cloud nine.

It’s too soon to tell (because he’ll probably lose/replace them) but I do believe James has your hair for now. The nose is all Annie, though.

Thanks Heather. I viewed this at 6:00 in the morning and laughed so hard I woke up Chase. Nice going.
