So funny, almost everyone I’ve met with curls (from office to extended family) is so jealous of my straight hair. They claim hating having to use a million products to make their hair less frizzy, they complain of never being able to see the results of a new haircut, they complain of tangles and my father, especially, complains of being a man with waves! Imagine. I think we all want what we don’t have. So I’d say, let’s all try to be happy with what we do have. Women with straight hair have the lovely option of curling it and being able to easily choose to wear it one way or another and women with curls never have to worry about their hair looking limp and bedraggled. Repeat: one is not better than the other!!
Her curls are so cute and remind me so much of Madeline’s with the exception that one of your daughters is blond headed and the other is dark headed.
So now two questions and yes I know I have seen some childhood photos of you and Mike but those were of ya’ll around the age of 5 to 7 if I remember properly.
1. Did you or Mike have blonde hair as a baby/toddler?
2. Did you or Mike have curls? Looking at the pictures of ya’ll it looks like you both have straight hair but my dear little brother always kept his hair but short because if he didn’t Out Came The Curls!
When I was born, I had red hair that turned light-blond. My hair color now is a light reddish-brown, but I’ve been having fun dying it darker. Although I’m thinking about going more natural.
EVERYONE has curly hair except me. My parents, my brother, Mike, his parents, his sister. EVERYONE but me. So it’s not surprising both of my girls have curls. I love them!
GORGEOUS curls!! I have them now and did as a kid too, but not directly out of the head like that. Annie’s are so pretty! Haha, just wait until the great and oh-so-fun era of product trial-and-error.
I’d just be happy if my 15 month old had some thickness to his hair … Alas! He got my thin hair genes and won’t have a nice head full until he’s about three years old!
