Last night Annie’s school choir put on a performance of A Christmas Carol. I had no idea what to expect from a group of 50 first through fifth graders, but I was blown away not only by how ambitious the play was, but by how well the kids pulled it off. Such a talented little group of singers and actors! Annabel was the Ghost of Christmas future and she did a fabulous job helping Scrooge see the error of his ways. She also really, really liked her costume, a black cloak, because, “I look scary, but also mysterious and pretty.”
James was totally captivated by the entire performance, which was surprising, but he especially loved the post-show snacks.
Steph says:
So glad James was able to watch it. My husband used to talk me into bringing our little ones to plays, etc. and they usually did quite well. And I was frequently pleasantly surprised by our girls’ school performances. It seems if you challenge the children they try to rise to the occasion.
Glenda says:
Beautiful kids! xo

I’m not surprised she had such a great role!
