Great shot! When we went to NY, I had to make a special trip to Grand Central, even though our train didn’t go from there. When I was growing up, my Mum would look around the kitchen (teeming with children and noise and various comings-and-goings) and say “It’s like Grand Central Station in here!” I can now confirm that it was, quite like.
Ironic: my mother’s never even been there!
Fabulous shot – I work in this building and you captured the beauty that is Grand Central. I don’t get to appreciate it as often as I should – I’m too busy feeling like I’m frogger, whizzing through the crowds trying to get home to my family every night.
Ah, I love that about NYC. For those who have never been, Times Square and Grand Central Station are beautiful even at 1am. It really is the city that never sleeps!
I have never been there, but……..that picture looks very similar to the scene in “The Fisher King” where Perry (Robin Williams) is following Lydia (can’t remember that actress’ name), and the scene in Perry’s mind, becomes a ballroom slow dance.
I saw you in the lobby for 10 seconds, was intercepted, and by the time I turned back you were gone. Hi Heaaaaather! Guess I’ll see you soon enough, but I wanted to say I in person.
Hey spunky …. I was there the other night – about 1am, and took some rockin’ pics too. Was with Dave, roaming the dark streets, and came across this amazing building by accident. It was totally on my to-do list to see. I lerve it. XOX

It’s beautiful nonetheless.
