Her eyes may always be changeable. Mine are most often dark grey, green, hazel, or gold (nice narrow range, there), but light grey, light brown, blue-grey, and blue-green have all happened. Today they’re gold in the middle and brown at the rim. It has its advantages – but filling out passport forms isn’t one of them.
Well at least I know it’s not just my kid! Sometimes I wonder if I’m imagining things when I wake up and Khari’s eyes are brown when they were greenish or gray the day before lol. But I hardly ever catch pictures unless they are brown so alot of people don’t believe me!!! She’s adorable BTW…
i think i might have mentioned this in a previous post w/regard to annie’s eye color, but my emily (now 14 years old) has what we’ve always referred to as chameleon eyes. in fact, at her 12 month check up the doctor said, “well, it looks like emily is going to keep her bright blue eyes.”. i was thrilled, because i have blue eyes and my hubs has brown and lucas (em’s older bro turned out w/big chocolate brown eyes yum!). well, a few weeks later i notice em’s eyes were CHANGING! and, they continue to change to this day. they never did go back to blue, they alternate between gold, green, brownish and everything in between. and, she has the personality to match. always changing….never boring!! i think your annie will be similar. always keeping you guessing. have fun!!
