i LOVE babies hands. they are so amazing especially when you imagine all that those amazing, tiny hands will do.
dream big!
may i also offer keep on enjoying the ride like you are. my “baby” got married yesterday…oh em gee, i am a mother in law! Laura Scarborough´s last [type] ..no negotiations
That is beautiful, Heather! I remember lying in my hospital bed after my son was born in the first moments that we had alone together. I looked at his tiny hands and the same thought crossed my mind. I imagined them working hard. I imagined them in surgical gloves saving lives. I imagined them writing short stories. I imagined them playing instruments. I imagined holding a newborn. Then I imagined them weathered and gnarled like my grandfater’s. And I cried. Oh, the places these babes will go!
well, i’m a total sap because this pic brought tears to my eyes! those tiny fingernails, the little creases in her knuckles….such a gift to capture these little moments and features on sweet Annabel as she grows up. this might be my favorite photography post so far.

Beautiful and profound. My eyes are getting misty. It’s fun to imagine what piece of the world those hands will hold.
