What a neat looking blanket! If it is to become Annie’s “lovey”, you’d better pick up several more. I learned after my 2nd daughter was born, that if I put a blanket on my shoulder while I was comforting her, she would associate it with comfort and sure enough, she used them as loveys for a long time (just kept them in her bed with her). I think it is good if kids have things that can comfort them when mom or dad are not at hand immediately, like in a big family. But don’t lose them!! We toured the aircraft carrier in Charleston and lo and behold, my daughter had dropped her bankey somewhere on board ……. and talk about finding a needle in a haystack!
My oldest (now 22) slept with his “blankie” wrapped around his head like a turban until he was 17. Only time it didn’t go with him was on overnights to friends houses & I think he would have taken it then too if the fear of friend ridicule wasn’t there.

Ohhh that looks like a nice blankie!
We have some major blankie love happening now, too, and I need to find a second in case or else cut this one in half.
I want one just like it. Think they make them to fit a queen bed?
