Yesterday Maddie reached a significant milestone for preemies when for the first time she was fed very small amounts of Heather’s previously frozen breast milk and she appears to be tolerating it ok. The feeding was done through an oral tube and is being closely monitored for any digestive problems. Heather administered the first feeding and while at the hospital does almost all of Maddie’s care including baths, diapers and anaomised breathing/lung treatments. Kirk
