I know…it doesn’t matter how many times the nurses and doctors tell you that you did the right thing by coming in, you still feel kind of dumb. And it doesn’t matter if you would tell a friend to go in under the same circumstances. We are so hard on ourselves!

bring your favorite brand of maxipads. the hospital ones go from tailbone to navel and then bunch up in your crotch in the most wrong way. and some comfy undies.

also, not sure if you are going to use a pacifier for binky (a binky for binky?) so you may want to bring onel.

oh, my most favorite part of having a baby/hospital stay? when the hospital administrator person came to my room and asked me to pay the deductible for my insurance, so bring a credit card or your checkbook…. tacky, i know. but you never know!

I don’t blame you for not wanting to bring preemie clothes. Kristy is right though- the newborn sizes for some brands are HUGE! My little porker was almost 9 pounds too and he was swimming in some of his newborn stuff for a long time. In my experience, Gymboree and Janie and Jack had the best layette stuff because their newborn clothes actually fit newborns rather than 3 month olds.

I’m sure whatever you bring Binky to wear will be precious and adorable!!! We are all so excited for you!!!!
