Sometimes Annie throws requests at me when I’m styling her hair. She’ll shout out stuff like, “I want school hair!” “I want monster hair!” “I want baby princess hair!” I have fun coming up with different styles to match what she’s asked for. This bow was the result of, “I want Minnie Mouse hair!” It’s very easy to make, and it’s sure to please the little girl set (or the Minnie Mouse fans!).
Two hair elastics
Comb
Bobby pins
Start with a high ponytail on the top of the head.
Comb out ponytail so it’s smooth and tangle-free.
Wrap your second hair elastic around your ponytail, pulling the hair through once. Wrap the elastic a second time, only pulling the hair through 1/3 of the way, creating a loop of hair with the extra in the front.
Another view.
Divide loop evenly down the middle, pushing each section to the side.
While keeping the loop divided, grab a section of hair from the front…
…and pull it back and over the middle of your newly-divided loop.
Wrap the section of hair around the base of ponytail, secure with a bobby pin.
Grab the rest of the hair from the front and wrap it around the ponytail base.
Secure the hair with bobby pins.
Fluff the two loops that create the bow, and you’re done!
It’s sure to get lots of compliments!
Let me know if you have any questions. Have fun!

OMG, I MUST try this on my daughter! Of course, I first have to print your awesome step-by-step instructions – the visuals always help me figure it out, even if it takes a few tries.
I LOVE this look and can’t wait to do this! My daughter will love it too because she’ll see how beautiful your Annabel looks with it and will want to look JUST LIKE HER, a WIN-WIN for me!!!!
