I woke up yesterday morning and my baby was three months old. How did this happen already?! Seems like it was just yesterday that she was in diapers.

She weighed in at 12 pounds two ounces, which means she has doubled her birth weight. Crazy! She’s 23 inches long and her head is 16 inches around. Let’s hope she’s going to take after her dad in the height department. So far she’s short like me!

The physical changes are amazing:

She’s so happy and curious. She smiles ALL the time, but I am still getting her used to smiling when she sees my camera. For the last month, she has been sleeping so well that I haven’t wanted to say anything. She still goes to bed SO LATE. I don’t know how to fix it. But when she DOES finally fall asleep, she’s usually down for eight hours. I know, I know! Of course this week, she knew that Mike wouldn’t be home, so she decided to stay up until 1:00 am and then wake up throughout the night. So while I’m typing this, my eyes are literally crossing and my eyelids are heavy. SLEEP ANNABEL SLEEEEEEEEEEEEP.

I just typed dkjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjasf because I fell asleep with my hands on the keyboard. If that isn’t the true descriptive word for what it’s like to parent a three month old, I don’t know what is. Dkjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjasf, indeed.

I really need to figure out how to get this child to sleep normal hours.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far to our March for Maddie team for the March of Dimes. The big event is on Saturday, and we are excited to be the biggest family team again. If you would like to donate in Madeline’s name, please click here.
