Happy Easter to those of you who celebrate! I will not be enjoying my typical Sunday morning and instead will be supervising an egg hunt and a lot of candy eating. I’m looking forward to a delicious brunch at my parents’ house, and then some fierce Scrabble playing. I hope that your Sunday is as sweet as mine, no matter how you’re spending it.

Good Reads:

~This post from Marinka at Motherhood in NYC really resonates with me. I don’t know how I got so lucky to be surrounded by such amazing people, but I am so thankful.

Mother’s Day Ideas:

~A mug decorated with a drawing by your kid! That’s adorable.

~This etsy seller will laser engrave a handwritten recipe onto a bamboo cutting board. Since I have a stack of my grandmother’s handwritten recipe cards, the hardest thing for me will be deciding which recipe to use!

Gotta Try:

~I came across this tattoo printer paper and I have to admit, I’m intrigued! I think I’ll order it this week and let you know how it turns out. Has anyone used it?

Currently Watching:

~I started watching Friday Night Lights a few weeks ago via Netflix. I was so confused with the way the second season ended and the third began that I finally caved and googled it. The second season ended abruptly because of the 2007 writer’s strike. That news took me back to when I was on hospital bed rest with Madeline. After the strike began, there was NOTHING NEW on TV and it made the long hospital days even longer. I wish streaming had been possible in the hospital back then! What should my next streaming show be?

Please Give:

~The March for Babies is next weekend, so this will be my last reminder to sign up to march with us in person or in spirit. It’s free to join and only takes a few minutes of your time! Thank you for all of your donations so far – I’m almost halfway to my goal, and our team is less than $1500 away from Maddie’s picture being displayed on the jumbotron!

And Finally:

Annabel drew you this picture of the Easter Bunny:

Have a great day!
