Thank you all so much for the kind thoughts and prayers for Rigby. We took her with us up to Mike’s parents’ house for the holiday, where she got lots of love (and some turkey). Today she’s going in to our vet for more tests, and this week we’re hoping to meet with an oncologist to start talking about options. I was so sad at the beginning of the week, but I am trying to feel a little more hopeful today. On a blog-related note, I will likely take on a few more sponsored posts than usual, and I hope you all don’t mind. I have a feeling dog chemo isn’t going to be cheap I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and all of you non-Americans had a fabulous weekend.

Elf On The Shelf

Mike does a huge Elf on the Shelf post for BuzzFeed every year, and for this year’s installment, he and I put together a few original ideas. It’s going up on Tuesday, I’ll be sure to link to it on my facebook page. We inherited a some props from the photo shoot, like a girl elf, some elf outfits (I’m sorry, Claus Couture), and an elf pet. You guys…elf stuff is crazy. We are still firmly in Lazy Elf Camp (we just move it every night, no crazy poses), but I have mad respect for the creative people who pose their elves every night.
