Ooooh boy what a year this week has been. Is anyone else totally exhausted? I think this week my TV will only tune into home renovation shows, cartoons, and The Good Place (omg if you’re not watching this show, you need to). I might still watch these while huddled under blankets, surrounded by empty chicken in a biskit boxes, but my blood pressure will be significantly lower than it was last week. Self-care! I hope you all are hanging in there. Solidarity fist bump coming atcha.

Pokémon Let’s Go

The kiddos still love Pokémon, so yesterday we went to a Pokemon road show thingamabob where they got to try two new games coming out for the Nintendo Switch, Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee. If you’re a Pokémon fan, it’s REALLY fun, especially with the Poké Ball controller. My personal favorite part was seeing the life-sized Pikachu and Eevee. The games don’t come out until November but they’re available for preorder now. I have just about finished my Christmas shopping for the kids…and it’s still September! **Spikes computer, does victory dance**

Fun Stuff

~I stumbled across two awesome pairs of Unicorn shoes! These slip-ons are perfect for smaller kids, while these high tops are “more mature,” according to my eight-year-old, who suddenly cares WAY too much about stuff like that. (Although, I just saw the high tops come in tiny baby sizes and now I don’t think I will be able to resist getting Annie and Leah’s soon-to-be-born baby girl matching pairs!!!)
~If you have Amazon Prime, check out their new Scout service. You give a thumbs up or down to different items like furniture, decor, or women’s shoes, and then Amazon makes recommendations based on what you like. This is PERFECT for an indecisive person like me who can’t really articulate what she likes, but definitely knows what she does NOT like.
~Target finally has out all of their Halloween stuff…I’m trying not to go crazy and buy it all, but it’s hard. There’s some really fun stuff! Like, I obviously need this giant grim reaper. And I have the perfect place for this creepy climbing zombie. Mike needs to get on board the Halloween train!

Happy Sunday, everyone!
