My babies are so old now!!! It was school picture day on Friday and loooook at themmmmmm:
Okay yes, I know that six and nine are not “old.” But they just look so old and where did my little babies go? You all told me time would go by fast but I didn’t think it would be THIS fast. Don’t get me wrong, I love being able to have conversations with them, I love that they are a lot more self-sufficient than they were when they were little. I don’t want to go back in time, I just want it to slow down.

~After going back and forth for months, I finally pulled the trigger and bought a large portable speaker to take to softball practices and games. It came with a microphone and James keeps asking if he can “announce” Annie and her teammates when they come up to bat, LOL.
~If you like makeup and beauty samples, the Allure Beauty Box through Amazon is great. Lots of high-quality samples and even some full-size ones!
~One of my friends told me about this “dish squeegee” and omg, it’s AMAZING for getting caked-on food off of plates. Man, I feel so old saying something that cleans dishes is amazing, but HERE WE ARE.
Happy Sunday, everyone!

I told my daughter last year (as she turned 8): “Can you just grow a little bit slower? It’s going by too fast, and I miss that baby face!”
She replied: “Mom, I don’t know how. Besides, I don’t think you’re supposed to be able to slow down growing.” ???

I can’t believe Annie is 9. I started reading shortly after her first birthday. I remember where I was when I read that James was born. Reading things like this help me to slow down and breath in my 2 and almost 3 year old a bit more. I don’t want them to stay little.. but I do welcome the reminders to remain present in their littleness before it goes.

I was walking through Target last night and wondered if James’s picture was still on the diaper box! And look how old he is now!
