I can’t believe it’s August! Yesterday, I flipped the page on Annabel’s Taylor Swift calendar (because of course) and we circled all the important days: Kindergarten Orientation, the first day of school, and, finally, the Taylor Swift concert! We’re going in three weeks and oooooh boy is my kid excited. I’m excited to see how she reacts to it. It’s going to be fun.

I always get comments on my Stitch Fix clothes, so I thought I’d share what came in my last box and how I get so many boxes I’m happy with. At this point, I’ve been getting boxes for about a year and a half. My stylist really knows me, and just about everything in my box is something I would pick out if I saw it in the store. It also makes a huge difference when you give detailed feedback. I explain exactly why I don’t like a shirt, or what I wish was different about a dress, and my stylist listens. My biggest problem now is figuring out what to send back, because I just can’t afford to buy everything I like every month!

stitch fix

This month, I got the blue v-neck top (the skinny jeans were from a previous fix), the white embroidered v-neck and the shorts, the black print panel top, and the distressed straight-leg jean. Not sure what I’m going to send back yet, other than the shorts. I love getting my Stitch Fix boxes – it’s one of the few nice things I consistently do for myself.

A Foxy Giveaway

I have a really awesome giveaway today! My friend Catherine introduced me to Foxy Vida, some seriously gorgeous diaper bags. They’re big enough to hold everything, but not so gigantic that you feel like you’re wearing an airplane carry-on. AND, they are so pretty – they don’t look like diaper bags, but they are waterproof inside and out, and have all the pockets, clips, and rings you could ever want. Mary, the designer and founder of Foxy Vida, wants to give the Privé Diaper Bag in Black Stripe away to one of my US/Canada readers! Woo hoo!

It’s so pretty, I want it.

To enter, leave a comment telling me which Foxy Vida pattern is your favorite. I’ll pick a winner via random.org and announce it next Sunday. Only open to those with US & Canada mailing addresses. Good luck! (PS You can also buy Foxy Vida at Nordstrom!)
