The regular softball season has ended. I just loved the girls I had on my team this year. They were all so sweet and funny, and they got along with each other SO well. You never know what you’re going to get with a bunch of seven and eight-year-olds, but this group was great. I’m going to miss them! But there’s no rest, as Annie was selected to an all-star team and the games start in just two weeks! I’m proud of this kid and her hard work, and can’t wait to see what she accomplishes in all-stars.
Around The ‘Net
Mike took the kids to see Avengers: Infinity War last weekend. James had been SO EXCITED to see it, and Mike said he was downright gleeful during the entire movie. The three of them all loved it (even the twist ending, which they’ve been acting out all week). So for those of you who are wondering if it’s too scary to take kids to, my kids were fine (after all, it IS a Disney movie). The only thing that scared James was the preview for Jurassic Park before the movie started!
I’m seriously having a hard time wrapping my head around James turning FIVE at the end of the month! The day before his birthday he has his Kindergarten assessment, and then he has his pre-k “graduation” on the morning of his birthday! That’s a lot of growing up in just two days.
~I’m tempted to get this for James, except why would I do that to myself? LOL
~James’ current fascination is the Titanic, so I ordered him this kid-friendly book for his birthday.
~I found this awesome series of books for girls who love sports (and of course I ordered the softball one for my girl).
Happy Sunday, everyone!
