How is it already February? I always think that my life is going to be chill and easy when I’m between freelance projects…when will I learn? My life is always CRAZIER when I’m between projects. I think it’s because I realize I don’t have long until my time belongs to someone else, so I cram in a bunch of things like volunteering multiple days at school or working pro-bono on a non-profit’s website. Next time I’m between projects, don’t let me take on too much, okay? I am so much better at managing my time when I’m on a regular schedule.

Super Bowl

I’ve watched the Super Bowl for years without having a dog in the fight. Los Angeles hasn’t had a team in the big game since like…1984, maybe? I was far too young to care then. In fact, my most memorable Los Angeles-related Super Bowl memory was in 1993, when Michael Jackson performed in the halftime show at the Rose Bowl. So it will be fun to watch today and root for the Rams, especially since the Rams organization has called Thousand Oaks home since they moved back to Los Angeles in 2016. They’re really become a part of our community, and considering everything my town has been through in the last few months, it would be amazing for the Rams to bring home the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Fun Stuff

~My mom gave me a pair of Addidas Cloudfoam shoes for Christmas, and OMG you guys. They are THE most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. I’m telling you, all of my athletic shoes are going to be the cloudfoam from now on. If you are on your feet all day, or run a lot, or just have feet, you HAVE TO at least try a pair on.
~This scalp massager is supposed to give you the best hair wash of your life. Obviously, I will try it and report back!
~It’s been raining a ton here lately, which has given me many opportunities to use my reverse-open umbrella. I’m obsessed with it!

Happy Sunday, everyone!
