Maddie update from Heather’s dad

Yesterday for the first time…Maddie consumed 45 CC’s, or about 1 1/2 ounces, of milk from a bottle without falling asleep. The trick may have been the use of a “preemie” nipple which allows for greater flow and less work on Maddie’s part. Her subsequent feedings went well and involved high volumes of milk as well. Hopefully she’s adding a sweet layer of baby fat which will enable her to look more like her Grandpa. Kirk
