No video today… We’ve had a long 24+ hours of E.R. and doctor visits after Annie suffered an elbow injury. We’ll have updates after we finally get some rest. The good news is that Annie says her elbow only hurts “a little bit,” and it clearly hasn’t affected her smile.

Oh my goodness Annie!!!
Hope you’re ok!!!
Poor Annie! She must be a brave girl, I definitely didn’t have a smile like that when I broke my elbow at 21! (Maybe didn’t have as effective Pain killers, lol)
Awww, heal quickly Annie! Love that she is still smiling!
Oh no! Poor baby! One of mine broke his elbow right after turning 3 years old when he jumped down from a climbing structure. Once the cast was on, it was a piece of cake (aside from keeping him from hitting his little brother with his cast!) and he actually cried weeks later when it was taken off (he was super into Star Wars at the time, and called it his “Darth Vader Arm.”) Now he’s 8, and thinks it’s so cool when we look through the keep sake box to see the tiny little cast with all of the well-wishes from family scribbled all over it (yeah…we keep casts. Weird?)
I hope Miss Annie feels all better soon! She sure looks like a brave big girl!
Oh no! Hope Ammie heals quickly and you all get some rest. Her amazing smile helps it seem better already.

Hope Annie is healed soon, M&D that you guys get over the having to take her to the ER – those visits are always fraught with tension.
Aww- poor Annie! I hope that she heals up quickly! She looks like such a trooper in the photo you posted.
Oh, poor Annie! Hope that elbow heals quickly!
Oh, no! I hope Annie feels better soon and you all get some sleep! We’ll be thinking about you!!
I love her outfit – even at the ER! Hope it continues to only hurt a little bit.
Ouch! Poor baby……feel better soon!
Momma Lioness Michele says:
Oh no! How awful for all of you! Hope this is a weekend of healing and rest for the entire Spohr family. Take care!
Even with her arm in a sling she is too cute. Hope she heals up quickly and you guys get some rest.
Oh my goodness, Annie! Feel better soon! I have a feeling she’s going to get a lot of ice cream and love out of this
My daughter had an elbow injury at about2 1/2. It was in a cast for about 2 weeks. I hope Annie feels better soon. She is totally rockung that sling all of you get some rest and have a good day.
Oh dear, hope it’s nothing TOO serious, and you are all rested and healthy ASAP. Good thing kids are so resilient, right!?
Oh poor Annie, and poor you guys! Hope you are all feeling better!
Poor little Annie! I hope she makes a speedy recovery and you can all catch a super long nap!
Sending you love and best wishes! Hope you all get some rest and heal up quick!
Poor Annie! Our elbow injuries have only consisted of Nursemaid’s Elbow and that was traumatic enough. Looks like she has something more serious with the sling. Hope she feels better soon.
OH NO! At least she doesn’t look very shaken by the experience. I bet there’s quite a story coming when you guys wake up!
Oh no poor Annie! My daughter had an elbow injury too around her age..so painful. She got hurt in the PADDED play area at the mall…only my kid..who gets hurt in there!?!?! Hope Annie is okay and you all get lots of rest.
But I have to say that even injured that kid looks pretty adorable!
Poor baby girl!! Hope you guys take it easy this weekend, and get in lots of snuggles.
Uh oh!! Hope she’s on the mend soon. Her eyes look very glassy and glazed, did they give her some pain meds or is that just exhaustion setting in?
Hope you all get some rest !
This picture was taken after midnight, so she was definitely tired, but she was also on a pain med that made her a bit loopy (and hilarious).
I’m so sorry to hear you all had to visit the ER! Here’s to quick healing for your elbow, Annabel.
Poor thing and poor mom & dad. Hope it heals well and quickly. Love Annie’s outfit! One son had nursemaid’s elbow, which was a horrible experience. Another son broke his arm and then broke it again with the cast on.
Oh no! Feel better, dear heart. Hope you’re all back to normal soon.
Ahh, poor Annie; I hope she feels better soon! But look at that face, such a cutie!
Laura M says:
Poor Annie and mommy and daddy. I bet you all worried like crazy. Glad she isn’t feeling much pain. Hoping all is well as can be. Poor girl
Sending fast healing thoughts
Feel better Annie! I broke my collar bone when I was 4 and hated being in a sling! I hope you are comfortable (go ahead and milk it for all its worth!).
Oh no! Feel better soon Annie (and mom and dad!!)
Lori R says:
OMG…..poor Annie, and you guys as well. Although Annie may deal better than some other little ones, espeacialy since she is still smiling. Hope you all get some rest and also hope that cutie heals fast.
Oh, no! Poor Annie and poor you guys — this must have been stressful! I hope she’s feeling alright and heals up quick
Poor little thing!!! (and poor stressed out Mom and Dad, I’m sure!) I hope you feel better Annabel – people can be crooks and steal my birthday packages from my front porch (true story) but this? This breaks my heart! Hugs and Kisses little one, feel better!!!!
Oh no, poor Annie I hope she recovers quickly and that you all get some rest.
Poor girl! Poor Mom & Dad! Hopefully it’s all okay. Thinking healing elbow thoughts.
Awwww! Poor Annie! Glad to see her smile though!
Feel better Annie!!
Oh dear! How exhausting for everyone! She probably did better than I would have. Last time we were in an ER overnight I was pretty much channeling my inner toddler and was whinier than our actual toddler about it.
Hope she’s back to normal soon!
Oh, poor Annie! I’m glad she’s not in pain and still takes the cutest pictures.
No fun! My 10 year old daughter fell on Labor Day wknd while camping 1.5 years ago and broke her humorous at the elbow. Required 3 pins (surgery!). She did great. The first few days there was a lot of pain but and adjusting to the cast took a week or so. After the cast came off her arm was stiff. Kaiser didn’t require any PT but rather just said come back in a month. By 1 month she was moving it like before the accident. We made her practice stretching it out and bending it. Kids are resilient.
Feel better soon sweet Annie!
Poor sweetie! Hope she got the princess treatment at the ER and is feeling better in no time.
Poor baby! And poor Heather! Poor Mike (stay healthy!) You all rest and stay healthy and safe!
So sorry to hear this! Hope you guys can get some rest and that Annie is okay!
Oh no! ): Feel better soon honey!
Yikes!! I hope Annie will heal fast and not be in too much pain along the way. She looks very brave, painmeds or not!
You better tell her to make up a brilliant war-story to tell her little brother when he’s here. Make him instantly proud of her and install a healthy dose of fear for his big sister… Something about a large dragon or a horde of angry giants storming the house. A simple fall just won’t cut it I’m afraid…
poor miss annie! i hope that she heals quickly. take care!
Her falls and spills will only make her stronger. Not only will she heal faster but she will get better. A nurturing environment surrounds her. Get well soon, Annie.
How is Annie doing now? Hope she is feeling little better.
Leslie K says:
Poor little love! Hope her pain continues to be minimal and that everyone gets good rest!
Poor thing! I hope she’s on the mend soon and that you both get some rest.
Poor sweet baby!! Hope she heals quickly!!! I know how she feels. I shattered my elbow 2 weeks ago. No fun. Lots of love (and ice cream) helps.
