There is only one almost fool-proof way to calm Annie down when she’s upset – play her music. If there is music on in our house, she is happy as can be.
Now, combine music with TV? You know, that big box with moving shiny things? Annie is rapt with delight.
It shouldn’t surprise anyone that Glee is a Very Big Deal in our household. Annabel sits still for an HOUR and watches the WHOLE SHOW.
Although, to be honest, she doesn’t exactly stay still for long.
She dances!
Watching her watch Glee is my favorite thing. What’s funnier than a baby squealing and dancing? Especially when the Puck character comes on the screen. Annie is a sucker for a bad boy.
Still pictures only tell part of the story. To get the full Annie dancing experience, you have to watch the clip below. It took all my concentration to not laugh and distract her.

I just love how both of your girls love tv. I remember watching Maddie watch tv. She would get so into it. Both of your daughter are so much alike! It must bring you a lot of joy but at times, is probably a little bitter/sweet as well. I can just picture Maddie running around the room dancing with Annie too.

My 3 1/2 year old loves Glee!! I have seriously withheld Glee as a punishment! He wasn’t listening, so I told him that instead of dancing during the song, he just had to sit on the couch and watch it, while being completely still. He cried the whole time as I tried not to laugh. :o)

My baby, who is 18 months old now, is hilarious when she dances. It only gets better when they start to walk. She spins around in circles, she does the robot, she gets down low. And I wonder? How did she learn to do that??? I’m a terrible dancer!!!
