Ten years ago, I woke up to rain. Today, I’ll wake up to rain, too.

It rained steadily for most of the day, but the skies finally cleared an hour before the ceremony. We ran off with our photographers to the Los Angeles Central Library, where we snapped pictures of just the two of us.

I’m so glad we took pictures in front of that beautiful building full of stories, some of the greatest ever told. We had no idea that our own story would have so much drama. If you’d told me then what the first ten years of our marriage would be like, I’d have laughed and said, “No way.” But here we are. We made it through the first decade.

This is us

Mike, thank you for loving and always being there for me. I am so grateful that I can count on you for anything. You are a fantastic husband and an even better father. I love the life we’ve built, and the family we’ve made. There is no one else I’d want to write this story with. I love you.

Our skies are clearing.
