I have found a new sugary-goodness-wreck-my-teeth-and-make-me-fat snack food candy thing. Reese’s Swoops. Oh my God, people. They are the best thing I have ever tasted. Many times I have found myself across the street at the Duane Reede, looking for a sugary snack to help me through my day. Usually I get something like Twizzlers or Red Hots, but never again. Swoops, for those of you who do not know, are shaped like potato chips and come in a variety of flavors. There is the plain chocolate flavor, the York peppermint patty flavor, and the Reese’s peanut butter flavor. I chose the Reese’s, and I do not regret it. They are the perfect shape for your mouth, like a Pringle. This flavor has a squiggle that goes down the middle that my tongue tells me is peanut butter flavored but I intuitively know contains crack. Imagine the taste of Reese’s Pieces infused with the addictiveness of crack in the delightful shape of a chip: you have Reese’s Swoops! Excellent.

I am in a crazy hyper mood right now. I know part of it is the sugar/crack…or maybe all of it. I have been reading this site and it’s been cracking me up. So, between Natalie’s weird humor and the sugar/crack mixture, you’d think that would be enough, right? Oh no. My iPod has decided to randomly play the most awesome music. Right now? I am rocking out to “Hurricane” by Bob Dylan. Oh yeah! “Here comes the story of the Hurricane, The man the authorities came to blame for somethin’ that he never done!” Dude, people, he could-a been the champion of the world. Before that, it was Journey, just the way I like it, just the way I need it. It doesn’t get much better!

Tonight Mike and I are going to see, “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.” Ashley Judd, Jason Patric, and Ned Beatty are in it. Should be a good show. I just hope I can come down from my crack high! Oh yeah! I said crack high! If I don’t, I think Mike will kill me. Good times!
