Cherry Cream Cheese Pie

Serves: 1 pie
- 1 8-ounce package of softened cream cheese
- 1 cup whipping cream
- ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 9-inch baked pie shell
- Bake pie shell
- Hand mix together cream cheese, sifted powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth
- In a separate bowl, beat the whipping cream until peaks form
- Gently fold in cream cheese mixture until incorporated
- Pour mix into baked pie shell
- Place in freezer for 45 minutes to set
- Chill in fridge until ready to serve
- Add cherries just before serving
