I went through the same thing 2 weeks ago. Except I had 3 days of non-stop contractions and was in a hospital bed for 5 days. I want you to know that I thought of you the entire time I was in there. Isn't it amazing that we live half-way across the world, yet in times like this it's the people who have gone through something similar that provide you with the most comfort?

Thank you for writing about your experience.
I'm 25 weeks today and hopefully my Baby Ooops will decide inside a few more weeks.

Lots of Love

Scary! With any luck the meds will keep the uterine activity at bay. Pity the side-effects are so strong! At least you'll have a mending Rigby back soon *picturing a girls' movie night... without popcorn...*

I am so glad you went to L&D. Go there as many times as you need to and never feel like you are over reacting. I am so glad the contractions have stopped. I know it is so scary. My doc told me that contractions were normal throughout pregnancy. I do not agree with that statement. I had contractions from day 1 until I had my C-section at 39 weeks. I mean real painful ones. I felt so much better when I made it to 34 weeks. Just be as still as possible. I don't know if it helps but it can't hurt. I even put pillows under me so I would be inverted in the bed. My feet were up higher than my butt. It may sound silly but I did it. I thought gravity was trying to pull the baby out because she was so low lying. You will make it to 39 weeks. I don't think they like you to go beyond that with gestational diabetes at least that is what happened to me.
