My baby boy had RSV & bronchiolitis at 3 months and had to be hospitolised. He smiled all the time too. Nearly broke my heart. Now everytime he gets a cold me and the nebulizer are best buds. We’re hoping he grows out of it.

Poor Maddie – she sounds so miserable. Another commentor on your husband’s blog wanted to know how you guys manage to stop yourselves from nibbling off her little lips – I want to know too. She’s so dang cute! But I do hope she feels better soon. I hate it when my kids are sick. When Captain Crazy was about 5mos old he caught the flu, or something close to it. I had to drip milk from a dropper into mouth a little at a time because he was too wiped out to wake up enough to eat. And I remember the long sleepless nights -uugh. Hang in there.

Poor thing, glad to hear that she’s “only” got the common cold. Can I tell you how glad I am my little one doesn’t have to sleep on me when she doesn’t feel well? I’d have a permanent concave spot in the middle of my chest with a chin-shaped indent in my collarbone. But those cuddlefests are sweet.

Hope she feels better soon.

It still makes me sad when my kids get sick & there's nothing I can really do for them (except commiserate maybe) and they're 8 & 11. At least it gets easier when they're old enough to communicate about what's going on & how they're feeling. Christys last blog post..The Changing of the Guard
