WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?!
(Month one, month two, month three)
(Only four months in and I already blew it and forgot to put the monster in the picture. Sigh.)
I weighed Annabel on our home baby scale (well, technically it’s Meghan‘s scale, but she won’t need it for a few more months) on the 21st and she weighed fourteen pounds. Then we went on our travel spree, so Annie’s four month appointment with Dr. Looove wasn’t until the end of last week. In six days, she’d gained HALF A POUND. I mean…that’s crazy, right? It seems crazy to me.
So officially her stats are:
weight: 14 1/2 pounds
length: 25 inches
head: 16 1/2 inches
hair: almost gone
Her length is in the 50th percentile, and her head and weight are in the 75th percentile. That just blows our minds. Madeline’s head was the only thing that ever made it to average on the charts. Her length was in the 25th percentile, and her weight was never on the chart. It’s hard to reconcile how easily Annabel gains weight compared to Madeline. She/we really had to work for every single ounce.

In all, she’s still just so chill and when we get excited about one of her accomplishments, she looks at us like, “what? Can’t everyone do this?”
Solid foods are on the horizon. I’m pretty sure that might push her into the 100th percentile for weight.

Oh and I think those blocks are brilliant, wish so much I had done this with my little ones. I couldn’t even manage to do pictures every month with their over sized teddy bears

She is crazy adorable! I’m sure would get up to much mischief with my Angus, born just two months earlier than her. He too lost his big sister. They are so special these babies born after such a huge loss.

She is a cutie and you’re right, that little pout in the bath tub makes you go “AAAwww”!!! Did the rocker Chic out fit I bought and set her diwn ever fit her or did just outgrow it before she wore it. Ohh well, at least I KNOW funky coat will fit her!!

I love fat babies. I love baby fat rolls. Little chunky babies are too cute. Both my kids went through a fat stage where I could eat them with a spoon. Yours is adorable. I love the videos you make of her.

That was one of my biggest proudest things. Isabella being on the top of the charts for weight. When she was 8 months old she was something like 24 pounds. She was a moose!
Her brother though……….I think he was closer to 2 before he was 24 pounds.

Too cute! What type of bathtub do you use? We are having bath “issues” as I can’t seem to find a system that doesn’t kill my back or soak the bathroom (tub on the floor) or freeze the little lovey (bathing in the kitchen).

I am in love with that tub pic and her chub. So funny how they lose their hair too. The difference in our own children amazes me. My 19mo old is about the size her sister was when she was 3!!!! and her head has been in the 75th percentile since she was about 3 months old. Also, one was bald forever and the other has a mop on her head. I don’t get it.

Aw, I love the chub! My Elise is the same way and her older brother was always on the small end. I can’t get enough of the chubby thigs and cheeks! Elise is a month behind Annabel and weighs the same — LOL, what porkers! She’s adorble.
