Congratulations!!!..Annie is Beautiful..so happy for your whole family…About the gas pain after a c section…I had it too!!!…My question is WHY OH WHY does no one warn us about it!!!!!!…I really thought I was dying a horrible death!!!…it is certainly a very important piece of info that should defnately be shared, so one can prepare for it!!!!:))

I had gas pains when I had my gallbladder out last year. I was amazed at how awful they were! But with the addition of the C-section, I am sure your pain was at least twice that of a gallbladder op done via keyhole.

But that beautiful end result – she’s worth a bit of pain isn’t she!

thanks for the reminder. no one told me either after my first c/s. the gas is the WORSE! here i am having c/s #2 in 5 days…yikes! it’s been fun to follow you. annie is so cute, congrats!

Ok, once again I feel that I cannot control my urge to offer unsolicited advice. I don’t know why, but I have to share! My son was also jaundiced as a newborn (and breastfed), and they also did the heel tests, and the doctors at that time told me to place him in a diaper ONLY and let him sleep on a blanket in the sun for as much time as he would take it every day until it was resolved. Not sure if they have suggested it to you or not, but like I said it’s a compulsion at this point to share! Maybe it will help little Annie. Who is GORGEOUS, btw.

Yikes, gas? I guess I am glad my kids came out the usual way after all. At least it got most of the pain over all at once.
