And with my first baby, I bled for 4 weeks, stopped, then had a period at 6 weeks but it didn't come back again until I was 6 months postpartum. Bleeding after I had been done for a bit. BUT, it didn't come back again for months. I exclusively breastfed all of mine for at least 6 months and then when we added solids they still only got breast milk along with it. I was SO irritated that it didn't stay gone longer...I think it came back for real around 6-9 months w/ each child. SO, maybe you won't get it again for a while??? That sucks! I'm sorry Aunt Flo is already back. Just a been there, done that FYI for the progesterone... It dried up my milk less than 3 weeks after beginning it and it was so hard to get my supply back up. It's not common, but not a rare side effect either, so just watch for that. She is so precious.
