I’m Spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this Year
I see the countless Christmas trees,
Around the world below.
With tiny lights, like heaven’s stars,
Reflecting on the snow.
The sight is so spectacular,
Please wipe away that tear.
For I’m spending Christmas,
With Jesus Christ this year.
I hear the many Christmas songs,
That people hold so dear.
But the sounds of music can’t compare,
With the Christmas choir up here.
For I have no words to tell you,
The joy their voices bring.
For it is beyond description,
To hear the angels sing.
I can’t tell you of the splendor,
Or the peace here in this place.
Can you just imagine Christmas,
With our Savior, face to face?
I’ll ask Him to light your spirit,
As I tell Him of your love.
So please pray one for another,
As I lift your eyes above.
Please let your hearts be joyful,
And let your spirit sing.
For I’m Spending Christmas in Heaven,
And I’m walking with the King.

3rd Christmas for Trevor. My 2nd year without him. I made him a Christmas card by hand today with a little kit I got at Wal Mart. His baby brother is the spitting image of him but so different in personality. And these are my Grand kids. I can’t imagine what you two are specifically going through, I do know that when the resemblance is more towards 75% or higher it is harder. Binky will definitely be a Blessing as you know in her very own special Princess way, I just know to this day, I can’t hold the baby without thinking of his older brother. I will be Praying Hard for you over the coming years. I hope its easier for you then me. My autism says I tend to focus (true) more intensely on the small amount of things I do and I obsess so again, Many Prayers for it to be easier. xoxo, Kandi

Hi Heather and Mike,
I am in LA at the moment, visiting from Australia to spend time with my fam for the holidays. I was making a list today of the friends I wanted to catch up with while I am here and you guys actually popped into my head. I know so many people don’t understand the blogging world, but i know we are friends in that weird internet world we live in. I felt validated in that when i just watched your video link on headline news and was saying “preach it, sista” to you on my screen. Your blog is such a source of encouragement and perspective for me every day. I just wanted you guys to know I am thinking of you during this crappy holiday season and am also thinking about Maddie, and saying to myself when i look at her gorgeous pictures, “i still cannot believe she is gone.” I am still sitting in the shock department. I just wanted you to know i still think about her all the time, and especially when i see purple, hear the name Maddie, or hear about a baby being born premature. i am more conscious about being grateful for every day i get to have the people i love on the planet. i just hope that this holiday season can hurry up and be over so we don’t all have to think about all the people that aren’t here…
