It makes me sad to read about this, because you two have been through SO much already! Being in the hospital for eight hours is horrible. Hospitals are horrible period (unless it’s because of the birth of a baby). I’ll be praying for Heather’s health tonight and that everything goes fine and just as you’ve said, “That you two won’t need to head back to the hospital until Feburary.”

*sigh* with or without a history like Heather has, it seems to me that if someone complains of back and neck pain, the first thing to do is examine the back and the neck. Not get all panicky about lungs and only examine the back and neck after 8 hours of uncomfortable & espensive tests and all the waiting around. too bad you didn’t get the 2nd doc first, maybe he would have done so.

hope the physical therapy fixes it. hope the numbers keep rising.

WOW! My husband and I had to take our 13 month old to the ER today because of some severe symptoms that her pedi. was worried about and the whole drive up there I was thinking about you and Heather and her recent post about that fateful day with Maddie’s favorite nurse. I just think it’s interesting that y’all were at the ER today too and were so heavily on my mind. I’ve learned many things from you two, but most especially Maddie. I take Heather’s advice on not sweating the small things because we just don’t know how long we have with our little angels.

Good G0d! What a frackin’ nightmare. It’s stories like these (and the ones I’ve personally experienced) that make me wanna avoid hospitals like the plague.

I hope Heather is feeling better today… and that whatever is bothering her neck/arm feels mucho better soon.

I don’t want to scare you, but a woman here in Canada recently experienced the same symptoms and they sent her home with a pinched nerve…the next day, she called 911 and told them she needed help and died on the phone…it was her heart…did they do an EKG AND an echo? they said that had they done an echo (ultrasound?) they would have seen it immediately…I truly wish only the best for you, but your symptoms are so similar to this woman, I just wanted to tell you that…
