Wow! We pretty much did the complete opposite. I made a cake...only it wasn't a cake at all, it was meatloaf with (blue) mashed potato frosting. (Of course, I blogge about it!) I only wish I knew about this... I could have served this too, and told my boys that we were having dessert first, and dinner afterwards. Well, there's always next year. That was great! A happy April Fools day. One April Fools day my boss's mom called me on the phone and told me she needed help getting some packages from her car to the office. I ran outside and then ran around the building trying to find her. Finally about 20 minutes later I returned to a phone call...."April Fools!" That little old German lady got me good! That is funny cuz he you know he was thinking grilled cheese and then took a bite and his brain probably couldn't figure out what was going on for a second or two. Sadly, I didn't play any April Fool's day tricks but I did have family come into town last night and I stuck fake dog doo on the bed and fooled 'em.
